Please join the IEEE Professional Communication Society for the International Professional Communication Conference 2012 (IPCC 2012) at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, October 8-10. IPCC 2012’s theme is “Communicating Vision,” and the conference will offer presentations on visual rhetoric and its many applications, as well as other topics.
The keynote speaker is Manuel Lima, the usability/user experience guru for Microsoft’s Bing search engine. Other featured speakers will include Carol Barnum, Suguru Ishizaki, Jon Leydens, Charles Kostelnick, Stephanie Rosenbaum, and Kirk St.Amant.
The early bird rate for members of PCS and STC is $450 ($500 for nonmembers) and is available through September 8. The Radisson Hotel Orlando—UCF is offering a special conference rate of $89/night (including breakfast). Free shuttle service to sessions at UCF’s Student Union will be provided.
