Syllabi Categories
Choose a subject category and you will be linked to the site where you can download or view relevant syllabi. Subject categories will be added as new syllabi are submitted.
Submitting Material to the Site
To submit a syllabus, send an email to Russ Kahn (russ@sunyit.edu). Either email the URL where the syllabus currently resides or email the file in HTML or as a straight text file. You can send this in the body of the email or as an attachment. Also email a description of the course, any prerequisites, and what category you think it should be listed under. It will then be inventoried, placed in the permanent ftp site, and referenced in the listing of courses. You can later remove, update, edit, or otherwise change your syllabus by emailing a message with the updated file. Your syllabus will not be edited. You will be notified by email that your syllabus has been received.
Related Sites
At least two other sites list syllabi: World Lecture Hall and Global Campus. These sites are much more broadly based, with syllabi in a wide range of academic areas. Also available is the MIT Open Courseware site, where many of MIT's courses are posted. You may want to check them out, if you can't find what you're looking for here.
