Fall 2011
As ATTW members know, in late 2010, the organization’s website was redesigned and re-launched using a new software platform (the open source content management system Drupal). The main purpose of the redesign was to improve communication between the organization and its members by creating a more interactive online platform and though an increased use of social media.
In late 2010 and early 2011, a survey of ATTW members was conducted. One of the purposes of the survey was to learn what features ATTW members would like to see on the new website.
At the time of the writing this update, the communication subcommittee of the ATTW Executive Committee and the Web Editor are working on the following tasks in response to the priorities indicated by members in the survey:
All these features are being tested now and will be rolled out once the testing is completed.
The site will also include online forums moderated by ATTW officers for members of special interest groups (SIGs) to share information and hold online discussions.
