The Research Methods Workshops are an initiative of the Association of Teachers of Technical Writing (ATTW) aimed at providing an opportunity for those entering the profession and those less trained in research to develop more sophisticated research skills.
This year, ATTW is sponsoring two Research Methods Workshops:
Full-time, tenure-track assistant professor in Communications Media. Teach both Professional Communication courses and introductory and upper-level Communication Theory courses.
SLOT-C Database, a free resource currently housing nearly 600 service-learning projects. If you have upper-division and graduate students who need communication projects with nonprofits, please visit the database: www.slotc.org

Bill Hart-Davidson is an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures and Co-Director of WIDE Research at Michigan State University. He has been a member of ATTW since 1998. He is currently serving his second year as President of ATTW. Prior to being elected to this position, he served two terms as an At Large Executive Committee Member and served as Program Chair of the 2009 ATTW Conference in San Francisco.
